Jamaica Wells & Services Limited is a locally owned and operated company founded in 1970 and is considered Jamaica’s premier well drilling company, with hundreds of successfully constructed wells.  

This small yet dynamic Company now employs over thirty highly skilled and well-trained professionals.  Our years of experience has resulted in a strong repeat customer base, rooted in satisfaction but most of all success. 

We are the distributors for Ruhrpumpen and Byron Jackson, the global leaders in pump manufacturing in the industry.  We design to specification a wide range of pumps, pumping a variety of fluids at varying temperatures for the Petroleum, Hydrocarbon, Chemical, Power, Mining and General Industry markets.  We are proud to say, we install and service what we sell.  

Our services include water system design, well drilling, well rehabilitation, well testing, well tele-logging, electro-mechanical installations of pumps, and water purification equipment.  Pump recovery, well abandonment services, supply, installation, and servicing of pumps and motors, and the installation of water mains ranging in diameters from 75mm to 900mm.

We hold the highest ratings in the industry by the Public Procurement Commission for well drilling and other services.  We are also the only certified well drilling company on the island with accreditation from the National Ground Water Association of America.  

We are well equipped with the two most advanced well drilling equipment on the island, the Foremost DR24, with its unique design and capabilities our rigs can drill hundreds of feet in open competent rock in hours when compared to weeks or months using the old cable tool method and as they say time is money.

We have the experience and technology to drill faster, deeper, straighter, in a variety of diameters, for cheaper.

The Water Resources Authority

The Water Resources Authority (WRA) is responsible for the management, protection, controlled allocation and utilization of the water resources of Jamaica. The WRA was established by the Water Resources Act 1995 and operates under the supervision of the Jamaican Ministry of Water and Housing. National irrigation Commission

National Irrigation Commission

The primary role of the NIC is to provide irrigation services to the agricultural sector. NIC’s main objectives are to manage, operate, maintain and expand existing and future irrigation schemes and systems, as may be established by the Government of Jamaica. NIC obtains its authority from the Irrigation Act 1949, which makes provision for the utilisation of water available for the irrigation of special areas in Jamaica, and for the conservation and use of subterranean water for purposes incidental to or connected with that purpose. https://www.nicjamaica.com/

The National Water Commission

Governed by The National Water Commission Act (1980), The National Water Commission (NWC) was formally established in 1980 through the amalgamation of the Kingston and St. Andrew Water Commission and the rurally focused, National Water Authority. This amalgamation resulted in the merging of some major systems island wide under one authority.
